Never again should you look at chain as a dark, soulless thing full of frustration and anger. This tool will show that mess who's boss. Bring joy and simplicity to your builds and never again be kept from finishing behind schedule.
The block (which is made from aluminum for added lightness) holds your chain steady while you use the screws to press a pin out of a link and ... Break the Chain!
This tool can also be used to re-assemble chains without using a master-link. You'll need a bit of skill and a dash of patience, and maybe some practice but in the end its not that hard.
This will only work for #25 chain but we do also have a 35 Chain Break for the hefty chains around.

Broke after a few uses
After using it to break chain about twice, the screw started becoming harder and harder to turn. Eventually it stopped turning entirely and would not move even without chain inside. Poor quality.

Works well
This works exactly as a chain break should. It easily pushes out the pin and stops with the chain still in the outer link. It also pushes the pin back in correctly. It's a great tool if using chain on your robot

Had this for years. Nothing else compares.
I bought this years ago (before it was offered by AM) after deciding that there must be a better solution than the clumsy stuff we had been using. This is very easy to use, both for removing and replacing links and for joining the ends of a chain. No master links needed. I also have a #35 chain version from a different manufacturer.

The only #25 Chain Breaker you should ever use
The DarkSoul Chain Breaker is the only #25 chain breaker you should ever use. Since buying this Chain Breaker, I've never needed to use Master Links ever - and it's so easy to use, even our Middle School students have learned how to use it with ease. This thing is AMAZING!
