Have you ever needed to make a 35 series chain shorter? Well this is the tool for you!
The block holds your chain steady while you use the screws to press a pin out of a link and ... Break the Chain
This tool can also be used to re-assemble chains withOUT using a master-link. You'll need a bit of skill and a dash of patience, and maybe some practice but in the end its not that hard.
This will only work for #35 chain but we do also have a #25 Chain Break for the smaller chains in your life.

Very solid and heavy duty
This is an excellent chain break. The "teeth" in the chain slot help to align the ends of the chain when reinserting the pin, which is a fantastic addition. I wish the #25 versions that others produce were built like this one. If AM made this in a #25 size, I would replace all the ones we have.

The #35 Chain Equivalent of the Notorious "Dark Soul" Chain Breaker for #25 Chain
This #35 chain breaker met all of the expectations that we on 1519 had for #35 chain when looking for a #35 chain breaker as good as the notorious "Dark Soul" Chain Breaker (am-4024) for #25 chain. We were very pleased with this ARC chain breaker -- it worked perfectly for both removing and reinserting chain. It was small enough to fit (albeit just barely) on our #35 chain for the arm drive on our 2019 robot. We'd definitely recommend this chain breaker to other teams.

Garbage. Broke on first use
I thought this would be a good design because it could be mounted in a vice to make it easier to use. However, the push pin broke at the base of the bolt on the first use. I don't know if it was an individual defect or a bad concept. Will attempt to return it.
