FRC Snow Blower Motor Excellent Choice
This motor works great in close spaces, It is probably closser to a ranking of 4, but it just does not have the power we wanted. We did like the convenience, and it was very easy to program. Great Break system as well.

Turret
I used the motor to drive a turret. It works perfect. The shaft was a little long so I cut it to size. Highly recommend.

Good motor
Great motor for turrets and low speed applications, especially where you don't want the motor to backdrive. Also, it is a pretty compact package that isn't super heavy for a motor/gearbox combo.

Great Value
With the 1/2 hex output shaft, this a very useful motor/gearbox system for FRC applications.

Easy to get along with
Initially we picked up a couple just to play with it without high hopes. This thing is not fast by any means, but man is it a convenient package. We're using it to index game pieces that have already been picked up. Mounted right to the shaft, we are able to locate this near the edge of our frame where a bag motor and gearbox would have stuck out. Now that is has the hex shaft, I could see us using this down the road a lot.

Not for contact
This gearbox has a steel worm and a plastic main gear. Worm drives are great because they don't back drive but because of that, if you crank on the output, the worm can strip the main gear. So think hard before using this on anything that goes outside the robot.
