0.5 in. Hex HD Split Collar Clamp

This new custom designed collar clamp has been designed specifically with FIRST Robotics Competition teams in mind. This one-piece collar clamp is a nice fractional 1/2 in. width to make shaft stackups easy. The clamping force is provided by a 10-32 socket head screw, which is bigger than most used in the competition marketplace for a high-strength clamping solution that shouldn't strip out when you need it most. You can even replace the 10-32 screw if it becomes lost, with the screws historically used in the AM14U family of chassis. These thoughtfully designed collar clamps also have small bosses on each side. These allow these collar clamps to be installed directly adjacent to an FR8ZZ Round or FR8ZZ Hex bearing without rubbing on the outer races for smooth operation.
