Product Overview

This updated version of the AndyMark 775 RedLine Motor is an even faster and more powerful version of this popular 775-class motor platform. With a power rating of up to 382W, this motor is capable of delivering even more immense power in the same small lightweight package over the previous version. This ball-bearing supported, air cooled motor is best used in high-speed applications where the motor will not be stalled for long periods such as shooters, conveyors, and intake mechanisms. With sufficient care and attention to your application's traction limit, this motor can be effective in FRC drive applications as well.

Product Usage:
Motors need air flow to keep cool. A hot motor won't last nearly as long, or deliver the power it once did new. To keep a RedLine cool and in great shape, use a 775 Vent Plate Spacer, am-3650 when mounting to a custom gearbox. All of our gearboxes that use this motor have vent plate spacers included with your purchase or include sufficient venting machined in.

So far so good. These motors definitely look and feel like a quality component. They run the proper rpm that I need and so far have performed excellent. Only one week use so far so I hope they last a couple years.

    The best 775s,hands down

I put these in my kids powerwheels. They are simply perfect...the bmw m58 of dc 775 motors. Tons of torque ,and handle higher voltage like a champ. I'm not sure what wizardry they've done with these to make them do much better than any other 775.

    Great motor

This motor is very powerful in terms of torque. It will be used in my current design for powered clutch system for motorcycles. Well made and compact design with ball bearings at both ends.

    Unbeatable

These 775's are about the best you can get for the price. I do not see anything comparable. I started using these as upgrades for my son's power wheels. I picked up more of them and am going to pair these with 71:1 planetary gearboxes for a custom 4WD go-kart.

Great on Power Wheels Baja Trailster

I installed 2 of these on a Power Wheels Baja Trailster with heatsinks. I also used a 17t 32dp pinion, and my ride-on is equipped with an ESC. At 12v it a nice torquey motor and at 24v it really flies (it's a bit too fast for my young kids).

    Great motors

I’m running these motors in a heavily modified powerwheels Jeep hurricane and on 24v these are pushing the 85-90lb car to 13mph. Great product and great price

Good for light loading high speed applications woth no chance of stalling

This is a high RPM brushed motor that is pretty delicate when you ask it for a lot of torque. The brushes are just flat springs and the current path is very narrow, so you only have to overload it once to kill the temper on those springs. We have burned out quite a few of them during software debug. They are great for situations where you need the high RPM and never have a stall.

Good motor in the right application

This motor has decent power when paired with the right gearbox. The key thing that anyone buying this needs to know is this motor should never be stalled for more than a second or so as these burn up very quickly when stalled. We selected this for our climber in a box and learned very quickly that a limit switch is essential for when the winch fully pulls the climber arm down. Even with a limit switch the motor took damage over repeated climbs and eventually stalled before making a full pull on our final climb. We will be switching to neo 550s for our second competition as their stall tolerance is much better when using appropriate current limiting. That said we are replacing a too slow and underpowered ball feeder motor (PG71) with a redline and gearbox for our second event.

    Power Wheels 24v Porsche

These motors have been working great in my children’s 24 volt Power Wheels Porsche. They have a great low end power and I’ve seen a speed increase as well with the higher RPMs at 24v. The kids are really enjoying them. I

Great Motor - The Pinnacle of the Air-Cooled High Power Brushed Motors in FRC

We on 1519 have loved the AndyMark 775 RedLine motor during the past few years. They were the go-to motor for high-power, high-RPM applications on our 2019 robot, particularly when coupled with the am-3773 RedLine Encoder Kit on the backshaft of the RedLine motor. Two RedLine motors (paired with a 325:1 Dual 775 Sport) ran the arm on our 2019 robot. With that gear reduction (plus more in the final chain drive), these motors worked flawlessly all year long. We also used four of these (again paired with the 325:1 Dual 775 Sport) for our 4-bar linkage climber in 2019 as well, with outstanding success. We'd definitely use them again for the right application. However, with the brushless motor revolution coming upon FRC, the days of the RedLine motor may be numbered.
