Robot Parts Cart

Looking for a "Super Pit" without the enormous cost and transport size? This Parts Cart is for you! It's a modular solution for a pit or workshop storage and work area. It is compact enough to fit three in a Prius with the seats down for easy transport to and from events, but large enough to hold a good portion of your well organized supplies needed to build and service a robot. The carts have latches hidden under the worktop that allow you to latch them side-to-side to form one long workstation in a pit, or back-to-back for an island work area in a shop. 

Each Parts Cart comes included with 8 storage containers and 3 battery shelves that you can mix and match to fill the 8 slots in the cart. The battery shelves do best on the lowest spots to keep the center of gravity low.  If using the cart for batteries, there are handy-dandy mounting holes for the NOCO 3 Bank Battery Chargers up the side.

The four swivel casters make for an incredibly easy-to-transport cart. Two of the casters have locks on them to secure the cart when at rest. A black HDPE top, makes for a perfect work surface once locked down. 

Prototypes for this cart were developed in partnership with FRC Team 3940 CyberTooth over the past several years and taken to dozens of events to refine the design to what you see here today.
