This motor and gearbox combo comes from a snow blower assembly. This setup is perfect for low wattage requirements on robots like indexers. Use this 10mm DD Hub to drive something with this motor (not included). We also have sprockets which fit on this motor.

"Fragile Plastic Gear, No Spare Gears Available."
"Be careful in your application. The unit uses a steel worm and a plastic pinion gear. The ratio is self-locking, so reverse loading tends to strip the teeth out of the plastic gear. The plastic gear is easily replaceable by removing the silver colored metal cover, but you need to buy an entire gearbox to obtain one, since spare gears are unavailable from AndyMark during the 2018 season. (AndyMark response: True: Spare gears for this particular motor are not available.)"

"Very fragile"
"With the nylon main gear, these will fail quickly. We have had 2 of these fail under a light load. Why are these not made with a steel or even aluminum gear?"

"This DD axle can mate with http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2279.htm but our team found another quick solution. The PG71 Adapter Sleeve fits right over the DD axle, thereby converting it to a 1/2 keyed shaft. No more set screws!"
