Soft Tiles are 2' x 2' x 5/8" thick gray floor mats that are used on the FIRST Tech Challenge (am-0481a) playing field. A full FTC field requires 36 tiles.

Not Sure Why
These soft tiles have changed. Anything that touches them from the robot or even stepping on the field leave impressions in the tiles. It takes a while for it eventually pop back to normal. I’m imagining it’s going to be a nightmare to configure autonomous

New field tiles
Our team was excited to finally be able to get our own playing field, and we still were. The only hiccup was one single field tile had about a dime size gouge out of the playing surface side of the tile. It looks like a manufacturing issue because it is smooth like as if an air bubble had been in the mold with the foam, so the rest of the tile formed just fine.

Tiles that are soft
They are tiles and they are soft. They cost a lot but are good quality.

FTC Field Tiles
Tiles arrived in great shape. The only thing I wish I knew was that I would need to cut the outside perimeter edges of the tile mats. I would suggest maybe adding a knife tool to ensure that it's done consistently, or directions that you would need to do this. Customer service was great - product came as described.

Good interlocking tiles
Excellent parts. We had no problems with the tiles, except, FEDEX did not deliver all our boxes together though they were part of the same shipment, and majority of the tiles came another day after tracking it down with FEDEX.
