Also reduces impact loads to chassis. Running a #4-40 tap through screw-mounting bosses will eliminate assembly concerns. Durable and reliable, but nice to have a spare in the event of a catastrophic decompression.

We forgot to account for the valve stem. This really adds at least 1/4" to the width of the tire.
As usual, exactly what was ordered and processed / delivered very quickly.

Was surprised to find they needed to be assembled.
"The wheels arrive unassembled. Students need to be reminded that using a screw driver to pry the tire onto the hub can damage the inner tube. When carefully assembled and properly inflated the wheels perform very well. Max pressure listed on tire is 36 lbs. 25 pounds works well for us."

"Used these in 2013, still using the counter weighted assembly for prototyping into 2016. The grip is perfect for a single or double flywheel shooter."
We put a pair of these on our frisbee shooter for Ultimate Ascent, and they're still going. We bought these six to support our air cannon. We tried to make our own hubs, but it doesn't take much wobble to make a drop center act flat.

"The tire seems fine, the tube had problems, the hub looks a bit flimsy - will see how it holds up. The biggest issue is the tube. It did not hold air straight out of the box. I tried to reseat the valve core, but this did not help. Only after replacing the valve core did the leak go away or at least get reduced significantly. The tube itself also looks like it will not stand up to long-term use."

If you are going to use these in the drive system, get several since the tread wears down very quickly. Also, one inner tube was shipped with a leaky valve which and went flat overnight.

This wheel was what we ordered. We did not use it on the robot so we don't know how it works.
"For the price of this wheel I expected a bit more quality. The tire quality is fine but the tube and hub leave something to be desired. The hub is split and assembles with 6 screws (3 on each side). These screws are cheap and strip reletivly easily, for the amount of force you have to put on them. Would recommend changing to a more robust hex head screw. As for the tube. The stem does not fit properly in the space provided. The valve stem is bent awkwardly in the wrong direction. This forces it to rest tightly against the hub, thus putting stress on the tube while also making it difficult to access with a compresser nozzle"
We only ordered the wheels because they already have hubs that go with the bearings we have from previous kits of parts.
The actual tires are not as uniform in composition as they could be. Tthere is enough irregularities that it makes them difficult to balance.

Love the wheels but had the valve pop into the tire during testing. Probably needed more air pressure.
Fast Delivery even in the hecticness that is FIRST.
This wheel has a decent fit, and the hub design is rather clever. It is rather unbalanced due to the valve stem, and there's no easy way to attach balance weights except to use double-sided foam tape.
This wheel should come with instructions, considering the intended market. (1) To mount the tire onto the beadseats, the tire should be lubed with soapy water. (2) The outer bolt circle, likely intended to prevent personal injury caused by tire inflation for a wheel that is removed from its vehicle attachment, MUST be installed, and if the wheel is to be disassembled to remove a tire, all inflation pressure must be relieved prior to removal of these important screws.

A great wheel for FIRST robots. Grippy, compliant and relatively light (given the performance). We are using three on our robot. Why three? Wait and see.
